Queen of All Elmos!

Another Saturday in the Kingdom of Elmos. Elaina, Queen of All Elmos, sat on her throne, surrounded by her court. It was good to be queen. Her loyal subjects loved her, and the kingdom was happy. Elmos loved her, just as Elmos love goldfish, love crayons, and love love. All was well in the kingdom. Or so she thought....

Attempted regicide! The kingdom is in an uproar!

Surrounded by treachery, unsure who to trust, Queen Elaina abdicates the throne and flees the palace. All Elmos say they love you...and their goldfish...and their crayons, so really, how do you know which of them really only love their crayons—or not even that!

For some time, the queen lived a shadowy existence, moving in secret among the loyalists remaining to her, biding her time until the stars were right for her to return and reclaim her throne.

The queen emerges from out of the shadows! The rebel traitor, Elmo-Wan Kenobi, falls to the queen's lightsabre! (Oops! Just made my little girl a Sith Lord there, didn't I? And just lost half my readers with a Star Wars reference. But when you have an empty cloak at your feet and a lightsabre...well, a maraca—but its end does light up, so I can hardly be blamed for drawing the comparison....)

With the traitor vanquished, Elaina, Queen of All Elmos, returns to her throne. The Elmos were happy and the kingdom rejoiced.

No Elmos were harmed in the writing of this post.
