Grandpa didn't get all the attention. Elaina got to spend time with Grandma too. Of course, it wasn't the sit-and-read-books time that Grandma might have liked—Elaina's usually too busy for that. As you can see, though, they managed to find some common ground.
Elaina's going to miss having Grandma and Grandpa around. I think she got used to having breakfast with them, talking up a storm to them all afternoon, and saying "night-night" and giving hugs at bedtime.
Grandma and Grandpa might even find themselves missing Wubbzy and Dora. They watched a lot of both with Elaina during this visit. Elaina's cartoon detox has been going well. Hopefully, her grandparents' is too.
