I had the rare opportunity and privilege to interview power pop sensation, Princess Rockstar, in her New England home.
“I love music, sure, but it’s as much about the outfits for me,” the young lady confided.

It’s just this kind of thing that draws people to Princess Rockstar. Under the glam and the glitz, the glittery pink fingernails, diamond tiaras, and oversized gemstones on her slippers, you get the sense that you’re speaking with a real person. She’s genuine and completely upfront about her musical persona.
She unabashedly plays her instrument on its stand, explaining that it’s too heavy for her—especially if she wants to dance.

A master of her craft, the young lady deftly adjusts the tone of her instrument. As she does, there’s a sense of the technician and the artist about her that belies the Princess Rockstar exterior.

Despite her youth, Princess Rockstar is no newcomer. Here’s a shot from a year ago. The Princess Rockstar persona might not have existed then, but the trajectory of this young performer was already quite clear.
