We're back at the hotel with our daughter, Elaina Si-Yeon. She's sleeping peacefully and has been since we bundled her up to leave Holt (the adoption agency). We met at 2pm, and she hadn't had a nap, so she was getting a little cranky. She was not happy that she wasn't headed to her foster mom's back. We had practiced the night before with our baby carrier (an Ergo), so we were ready for a front or back carry. Carrying her in the front seemed more secure, but she's used to being carried on the back, and after a quickly and vehemently rejected attempt to carry her in the front, we moved her to the back, which is what she's used to. She fell asleep after only a little crying. Uh-oh...the storm is starting....
