Happy To Be Home

We got about 6 or 8 inches of snow and it's continuing to fall. I think we'd still be stranded in New York if we hadn't driven home.

But we're home, safe and warm, and Elaina's a happy little thing. She and I had a three hour nap this afternoon. Here she is in her favorite new thing, passed on to her by Carlee, her friend-to-be. (Carlee is Caren and Michael Rice's little girl. Caren is a long-time friend of Heidi, and Carlee is a sweet little girl who is dying to meet "Baby Elaina" and has been dividing her toys into ones she'd still like to play with and ones that she wants to give to "Baby Elaina".)
