Merry Christmas

Heidi and Elaina and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to thank everyone for the emails and phone calls and comments on this blog. The amount of support we've received has been overwhelming. It's been as fun for us to check for comments as it has for you to check for new posts. This blog will be a really nice record of Elaina's early time with us.

She's had a rough time of it the last couple days—maybe jetlag catching up to her, maybe grieving for her foster parents—but she was such a trooper on the trip, she deserves a little cranky time. As you can see here, in her Christmas morning "Twinkle" outfit (she's such a girl), she's still a happy little thing.
