Extended Family

Lately, Elaina’s been working on understanding family relationships. 

We have this white cat named Olyvia, who we always call Lu or Boo or Boo Boo.  Interestingly, Elaina has no trouble with the fact that Boo has several names. She has, however, been a little confused about their relationship lately.   This morning, Elaina was calling her “Cousin Boo Boo”. 

It doesn’t stop there, though.  She’s called Max, the little boy bunny from Max and Ruby, “Cousin Max” and “Brother Max”.

Now, in Elaina’s defense, she does have a lot of cousins….
